After careful consideration, we have selected two charities to support in Pauline's memory. Eden Animal Rescue provides food and shelter for cats, dogs, and small animals. Our beloved rescue cats Maisie and Willow came from the shelter in 2016, and became an integral part of our family. Pauline spoke fondly of her visit to the shelter and was impressed with the care that was taken to match animals to the right home. Penrith Mountain Rescue provided assistance on Pauline's last adventure. She fell and broke her leg on a remote track in Gelt Woods, and the ambulance was unable to navigate the terrain. Penrith Mountain Rescue carried Pauline into a Land Rover and saw her safely into the ambulance. On her return home, Pauline praised their care and dedication, and as a family we are grateful to the team of volunteers who came to her aid. Both charities rely on donations, and we think this would be a fitting way to honour Pauline's memory. Many thanks for your kindness.
